Vehicle Tracking & Management System

Enable automotive manufacturers, distributors, and rental car companies to track and record the arrival, dwell and departure time for each vehicle at every step of the off-line process with Zebra's Vehicle Tracking and Management System (VTMS). Utilizing ISO/IEC 24730-2 real time locating system (RTLS) technology, VTMS generates constant vehicle location data as well as a historical record of the vehicle's progress through the off-line certification, repair and containment areas. In addition to being able to locate a unit on demand, the vehicle tracking and management data is also used to monitor such things as adherence to process, process cycle time and dwell time analysis for off-line areas and continuous improvement.
